Taylor Duncan, LPCC
Therapist
Taylor earned her Masters in Counseling from Carson-Newman University in 2017. She has years of experience working with adults in community mental health and substance abuse treatment. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Taylor has a passion for helping people work through issues such as stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, life transitions, and substance abuse. She believes in working with the person, rather than just treating a diagnosis, and therefore uses a variety of approaches and tools to help tailor therapy to each unique individual.
“I know the thought of coming to therapy can seem intimidating. My goal is to provide a safe, calm space where you can feel comfortable enough to let down your guard and be your authentic self. A space where we can join together in this meaningful work, that can be tough at times, but is so worth it.”
