Latoya Marks, M.Ed.
Intern/Community Support Associate
Latoya is a native of Bowling Green, Ky. She received a Masters in Education, with a focus in school counseling from W.K.U. She has over twenty years of experience in various capacities in the mental
health field, social services and in education. Latoya is a certified P-12 School Counselor, and has worked as a school counselor for the last 5 years with children and families. Latoya is working towards obtaining her License Professional Counselor Associate with this internship, followed by her Professional Clinical Counseling License.
Latoya works with adolescents and teens experiencing substance abuse, depression, anxiety,
trauma, and adjustment issues. In clinical practice, Latoya uses a
variety of treatment approaches, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive
Behavior Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Supportive Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to guide clients on their healing journey.
